Conceptual Models

Many proposals require or encourage inclusion of conceptual models that are articulate how health systems factors affect access, quality, clinical, utilization, and cost outcomes.

The Collective provides assistance identifying and incorporating models into proposals. The goal is to increase investment and engagement in health systems programs and innovations.

Eligibility

All Department of Medicine faculty and trainees are eligible, and consultations are generally scheduled in the order in which requests are received. Requests from partner or collaborator groups will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Process
The first step in the process is initial consultation with the Collective team. During this meeting, submitters will review project goals and any requirements related to conceptual models, with the goal of identifying candidate models or additional steps needed to identify candidates, as well as a tailored follow-up plan based on submitter needs. Interested individuals and groups are encouraged to complete our conceptual model consultation intake form to initiate the process.
